Praying For Paws - About Us

Praying for Paws is a non-profit dog rescue group that is dedicated to helping homeless dogs in the Henry County, Georgia area. We focus on larger dogs but have a large variety of breeds, such as German Shepherds, Border Collies, Beagles, terriers, hounds, and many beautiful Labrador Retrievers. Our biggest needs are adoptions, foster homes, volunteers, and donations.

Featured Dogs

Bella is a beautiful Lab mix girl who is about three years old. She is energetic and happy, and she enjoys playing with other dogs. She loves toys, tennis balls and water. Bella would be a great family pet and needs a home where she can get daily exercise.

Rambo is a wonderful Lab mix who is about five years old. He is friendly and playful, and he likes other dogs. Rambo enjoys being outdoor so much that a fenced yard is required for him. He would be happiest in a home where he could spend time both inside and out. Rambo has been patiently waiting for a long time to get a family of his own.

Levels of Sponsorhip:

Monthly Donations:

$25 - feed a dog
$50 - feed a dog PLUS provide heartworm preventative
$75 - feed a dog PLUS provide heartworm preventative/flea control/misc. supplies
$100 - provide food and care for a special needs dog, which may include daily medication and frequent vet visits

You May Also Make A One-Time Donation:

$25 - food for a month
$50 - vet check up for a new dog
$75 - spay or neuter a dog
$100 - contribute to a major vet bill
Any amount - using Pay Pal, you can donate any amount of your choice to help a dog. All contributions are appreciated!

Corporate Sponsorships:

As a non-profit organization, we rely on the community to help us provide care and shelter for rescue dogs that we take from the Henry County area. If you can help us by providing a tax-deductible, monthly sponsorship, Praying for Paws will gladly list your company's information and web address on our site.

You can also become an “angel” sponsor by giving $20 per month to sponsor one of the dogs in our program.

Become a “corporate angel” for $200 per year. We will include your business information and web address on our site, and you will be helping countless animals.

All donations are tax-deductible, and Praying For Paws will provide a receipt for your tax records. Your donation is greatly appreciated.

Our dogs love to sleep on Kuranda Dog beds, but we don't have enough for everyone. If you would like to donate a bed at a special wholesale price for a another dog to sleep in comfort, please donate a Kuranda dog bed.
